Tercera Cultura

As part of the Metaverse Culture Series, Tercera Cultura is a campaign exploring how LatinX artists and creatives can find a new outlet for their culture, community, and art within the future metaverse.

Led by multimedia artist COVL, the work featured a bespoke Horizon World she designed, an interactive AR mural installation at Art Basel 2022, and the voices of actress Jillian Mercado, activist Sara Mora, college athlete Tori Ortiz, and photographer Juan Veloz to discuss how the Latinx community can both preserve and advance their diverse culture in new ways through the metaverse and make progress towards equity on a range of levels.
